Took a test last December 25 (very fitting. Hi hi hi.) and another one this morning. Both showing two distinct lines :D My office colleagues are so excited for me that they even sent me this Chinese calendar to 'predict' the baby's gender. Hmm... Let's see... Well, if this calendar is accurate, our first born will be a boy :P Hubby and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely make an appointment with a doc soon to hear the official word :)

I first joined our company's annual "Lakaran" last year. Myke and I had so much fun that I was determined to participate again. After all, what's walking a few kilometers when you are able help out other people? :)
Our company's walk-for-a-cause this year was entitled "Walk for A Smile". PLDT has tied up with Operation Smile to come up with donations for the operation of 82 kids with cleft lip and palate. 82 kids in significance of the 82nd year aniversary of PLDT. One special day. Hubby made me breakfast plus I didn't have to take out the pots and pans and start banging them for him to get up and out of bed. He started up and went about his 'chores' as soon as I woke up. Hmm... One special day. Another milestone. So, I thought that I want to be thankful for three wonderful things: 1) For the gift of a loving family and supportive friends. 2) For the gift of eternal love in the form of my hubby. 3) For the gift of LIFE. Another year has passed and more years to look forward to. Years to appreciate God's amazing work, to continue receiving His blessings, to love all that is with me, by me and of me. Cheers! Someone from the office was selling cutesy pens that are suitable for children's gifts this Christmas. I really wasn't interested on the fake Hello Kitties and the other fancy doodoos until I chanced on this - skull pens! They looked really cute and cool. And I was really happy that there were a pair of them! One was white, the other pink! So I immediately held on to them and paid up front.
You probably might be ready to puke already with the wedding related pictures and stories I've been posting lately so I thought to share something fun. But... still wedding related. Ha ha ha! Gotcha! Thing is the only whites you'd see here is not of my gown but of white clouds and sand. Yep, it's our honeymoon in Boracay! :D But before I go on, don't think that I'd be posting some 'naughty' stories here. This is all about the fun in the sands and water. After our wedding, we flew off to Aklan to spend 5 blissful (and stress-free) days at Bora. It's our first visit here for both Myke and I so we were pretty excited. I got a parcel this afternoon... It's a copy of the W@W 2010 Primer. I was given a copy for my contribution - which was a quote under "Nicest thing done to you.." Note from the author: I'm happy to inform you though that my MOH (Maid of Honor) was indeed present on my wedding day.. sans jet lag =) "I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock. Your peacock, cock, cock..." Now, how do you react when you hear that on your car stereo with your fiancee just an arm's length beside you? My initial thought was "WTF?" and then I had bursted out laughing. This track is off Katy Perry's Teenage Dream Album. I had downloaded it on my USB disk and popped it onto our car stereo for my (now) hubby and I's listening pleasure. When we got to that track, I had been (kinda) embarrassed since Myke was with me then. I am not one who is unfamiliar with dirty jokes. Sometimes , I do get into some friendly banter with some "green-minded" people but I guess I wasn't prepared to what we heard on the song. Since the track was titled "Peacock", I initially thought that it was about beauty, transformation, etc. It never crossed my mind that it might be a lewd reference about male genitalia :P I ♥ Katy Perry. I liked the rest of the tracks from her latest album but I don't think I'd include "Peacock" on my playlist anytime soon. It's a sunny Sunday and as I'm looking at the ring on my hand, I still can't believe that I am now a married woman. The ceremony and festivities seemed to have whizzed by but I could still vividly recall beautiful details.. moments I would cherish forever. I'm kinda still in a daze to jot down all of the stories that I wanted to share with you, my friends. But when everything is settled, I'd post whatever I could. For now, this is the AVP presentation I made with our prenup pictures. I hope you'll enjoy this :) *Photos by Team Redsheep ♥ (Blissful) Grace My couturier sent me an SMS yesterday asking me if he could display my wedding dress at the Fashion Accessories and Beauty (FAB) Bazaar at the World Trade Center. I guess I was a bit flattered, of course since my dress was on exhibit alongside the works of Randy Ortiz, Rajo Laurel, Jun Escario etc. I just hope I'd still fit in it since I am practically raiding the buffet at our hotel. Bad. Bad. My dress might be getting attention but I won't let it overshine me on my big day :P |
